Our ED700A / ED816A both provide the ultimate in reliability eg. each loop is electrically isolated and hence an earth fault still allows correct operation while electrical noise due to cross-talk is eliminated.
If the software fails completely the equipment still operates in conventional mode because each module is driven from its own microprocessor which monitors all other microprocessors in the system. It is hard to imagine a safer method!
